Sujoy Das joined Central Leather Research Institute (CLRI), Chennai, India as a scientist on July, 2011. He received PhD in Life Science from Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science, Kolkata, India. Before joining in CLRI he worked as a post doctoral research fellow in School of Biotechnology, Dublin City University, Ireland. Sujoy received both IRCEST-EMPWER, Govt. of Ireland and FCT, Govt. of Portugal Post Doctoral Fellowship. Sujoy obtained Master degree in Biochemistry from Calcutta University, India and has working experience in diverse field of Environmental Microbiology and Biotechnology, Biomaterials, Nanoscience and Technology and Cell surface Interface.
